I set my Canon Digital Rebel XT on manual mode at ISO 400, F/2.2 1/40, with my Canon 50mm 1.4 prime lens. it would have been nice to bounce a bit of light onto the dark side of the burger patty, but this way there is such a sharp contrast between the burger's shadow and the mustard. And that pickle is just Glowing!!! Regarding the picture of the hamburger:
