Griffins at the Hotel Vancouver
Griffins at the Hotel Vancouver (900 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, phone 604-684-3131) is a decidedly upscale and yet casual restaurant in the sumptuous Hotel Vancouver in the middle of downtown. Most of the patrons at lunch were wearing business attire, but this was not surprising considering that the restaurant is located very close to Vancouver’s main business and financial district. The attraction here is the lunch buffet which is a somewhat formidable $27, but at this price offers a good degree of quality as well as the expected quantity. Pictured below are some of my choices from the buffet table: there is a variety of cold and hot selections including seafood, salads, soup, cuts of meat and pasta dishes, as well as some very tempting desserts.

sorry to hear that you had a bad experience.
I agree, the buffet is more geared towards seafood fans, and those who enjoy other meats. I personally love seafood so it is a good buffet for me. Where else can you get unlimited fresh salmon, mussels, clams, prawns, as well as cuts of beef and pork? As well as cheesecakes with strawberry sauce and cream puffs for dessert? The quality is pretty good for a buffet, in my opinion.
It might be a good idea to make a suggestion to the restaurant to label their food items better.

I would not eat at the Hotel Vancouver Griffins resturant again. Food was not very appealing and worst yet, there were no labels identifying the food items.
Where the label said chicken, there was pork!!
The salads had too much dressing and if you are not a pork or seafood fan, not a good place to go.
