Kadoya Japanese RestaurantKadoya Japanese Restaurant (1063 Davie St., Vancouver, 604-608-1115) is a tiny Japanese restaurant on Davie Street downtown, across from the Celebrities gay night club. Kadoya is usually packed with people around 7pm on a weekday, and reservations are recommended. Enjoy some of their colorful, inventive sushi creations such as the specialty rolls pictured below (approx. $7.95 per roll). A very large dinner for two came to approximately $40.

So what if they say it’s a gay night club? I’m gay and I don’t find it offensive. Stop with the PC overkill already!
Some people like to know what kind of places are in the surrounding area so that they can make informed choices of where they go. This helps to keep away small-minded bigots too!

christina, i don’t think the author meant to sound politically incorrect. It’s just a stating of the facts that the nightclub generally has homosexual patrons.
It might’ve seemed odd if the person also put the capitalized emphasis that you dd.

“Celebrities Night Club is a landmark for Vancouver’s Night Life and has been a dance bar as far back as 1910. It has lived as Celebrities since 1980, with a short closure for 4 years to do a major renovation. Since Celebrities Night club re-opened in the summer of 2003 it continues to be the largest Gay & Lesbian night club in Vancouver!”
