Vancouver Restaurants - Vancouver Restaurants
Euro Pastry House (#114 – 1058 Mainland Street, Vancouver, phone: 604-602-0003) is a great place to stop and have a sandwich in the downtown Yaletown shopping / restaurant district. But these are not your ordinary sandwiches. Imagine a breaded chicken schnitzel with cheese and ham, cozy with fresh vegetables between two gigantic slices of marble rye bread (pictured below, $7.69 including tax). I have to say it was one of the heartiest and most satisfying sandwiches I have had in a long time. This tiny restaurant is not to be missed!

My Sushi World Bento Express (1258 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC, phone: 604-681-1150) is a small take-out oriented sushi restaurant located on Robson Street across from the Shenanigans lounge/bar. Prices are very reasonable (everything is under $10, and a regular chicken teriyaki is $4.50). I really enjoyed my Seafood Don (a bowl of rice with assorted seafood on top, served with miso soup) which was $8.95 (pictured below). At this restaurant you place your order at the cashier before sitting down. Service was friendly and the music playing was a combination of 90’s hits and Japanese pop.

The Shark Club (180 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, phone 604-687-4275) is a popular sports bar and grill located in Vancouver’s downtown, very close to BC Place Stadium and GM Place, respective homes of the BC Lions Football team and the Vancouver Canucks hockey team. This spacious hangout gets busy during and after sporting events, which you can watch on the many TV’s while listening to a DJ spinning some funky beats. They also have a fairly well rounded food menu which is available at lunch as well. Below is pictured my seafood linguini ($13.99) which was quite tasty.
